2026 General Chapter

From August 30 to September 6, 2026, the Sisters gathered at our Motherhouse in London, Ontario, for our 16th General Chapter. Every five years, a General Chapter invites us to step back from the ordinary rhythm of life, to listen prayerfully to one another, and, above all, to listen for the movement of the Holy Spirit among us.

Our time together was a sacred opportunity to reflect on who we are, the mission entrusted to us, and the ways God is calling us forward. Through prayer, discernment, conversation, and sharing, we were reminded that our future begins with a renewed openness to God’s presence and to one another.

Our daily lives are filled with opportunities to encounter Him. Whether we are praying in the chapel, caring for a Sister, preparing a meal, serving others, working in our offices, welcoming a visitor, or carrying out the many hidden tasks of community life, we are invited to see each moment as an opportunity to love. Our prayer flows into our work, and our work becomes prayer when it is offered with love.

As Sisters of the Precious Blood, we also carry the needs of others in our hearts. We continue to hold in prayer our Sisters, the Church, God’s people, those who suffer, and the needs of our wounded and beautiful world.
