Sr. Vicky Nguyen – First Profession of Vows

On Saturday, October 19th, 2013, Sister Anna Vi (Vicky) Nguyen made her First Profession of Vows.

Most Rev. Ronald Peter Fabbro, Bishop of London, presided at the Religious Ceremony and presented Sister with the signs of her Consecration as a Precious Blood Sister. These are: the red scapular, the black veil and the silver cross containing relics of the Saints.

All of Sister Vicky’s immediate family were present. Sister comes originally from Vietnam and she and her family escaped as ‘boat people’ in the early 1980s.

We welcome Sister Vicky as our newest Precious Blood Sister and thank God with her that He has called her to our Religious community.

After the ceremony we gathered for refreshments with the clergy, Sr. Vicky’s family and our community friends. It is good to share our joy!
